How to Make Homemade Buttermilk
Buttermilk is used to make pancakes the resulting texture is softer and moist without using a lot of fat. Buttermilk is more viscous than liquid milk and slightly sour taste because buttermilk is produced from the fermentation process. Sometimes it is difficult to find buttermilk at the supermarket. Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar
- 1 cup milk
How to Make:
- Pour 1 cup of milk into the bowl.
- Take a little fresh lemon or white vinegar. Stir in one or two tablespoons of lemon juice OR vinegar into a bowl with milk. Stir well. Let stand for 5 minutes until the milk begins to thicken and become acidic.
